TECHNICAL SPEC

CHASSIS

BODY

Tidy Trailer Chassis
Only a bespoke chassis will do when stance is as important as strength. Fully galvanised to ensure durability, only using open sections to make sure there are no water traps, and precision machining every detail to guarantee consistency.
The Tidy Trailer Company, body
Our all composite body lets us do great design with minimum weight, and our unique vac-consolidation manufacturing method ensures perfect consistency. Six perfect panels bonded and fitted to make the ideal body.

MECHANICALS

DOOR

The Tidy Trailer Company, mechanicals
We use CE marked Knot-Avonride Suspension Units and Tow Hitches to ensure reliability, conformity and serviceability.
All our trailers are auto-braked and wheels are 16”, or we can supply an adapter so you can fit yours.
Tidy Trailer Door
Double skinned to ensure it's mechanically rigid, light to enable ease of opening, all hung to a separate steel frame to ensure reliability then designed to maximise the entry. Held up when open by gas rams, then locked by a hidden handle and stable bar.

FLOOR

LIGHTS

Tidy Trailer wood floor
Where the steel meets the composite and the rain reaches the load! We use 12mm Phenolic Board, CNC’d to perfectly fit, then screwed and bonded to best fix. Sealed on the edges of course, and tongue+grooved at every joint.
Modern LED multi-function lights provide the jewellery and a bespoke wiring loom with proper jointing guards against electrical jeopardy. Fog and Reverse keep it all legal and front facing, LED running lights help it stand out in the dark.

REAR FRAME

JACKS

Tidy Trailer frame
The greatest point of structural risk is at the open back, and the area doing the hardest work is where the door hangs. So we do reinforce the composite clam, but also incorporate a steel hoop to take the load from the hinges and the struts.

They’re necessary but usually ugly, and that won’t do for a Tidy Trailer!
So we’ve hidden them by moving them in-board, and developed a simple mechanism to ensure deployment is the easiest operation imaginable.
